Get Heard in Every Room That Decides Your Next Win.Â
Starting with your very next one, without getting louder or becoming someone else.
Communicate to Elevate is a repeatable communication framework for the woman who has done the work and is tired of walking out without the opportunity, the deal, the promotion, and the âyesâ. What you bring was never the problem.
This is how all of it finally lands.
Instant access. Use it before your next room that matters.
YOU DO THE WORK. THEN COMES THE PART NOBODY PREPARED YOU FOR:
MAKING SURE IT LANDS.
It Was Never the Work.
It's the Second-Guessing That Wears You Down.
You're tired of:
- Leaving a two-hour networking event with a stack of cards and nothing that went anywhere
- Coming home from every leadership event with a page of takeaways and no idea where to start with any of it.
- The conversation that's been sitting in your Notes app for two weeks because you can't ďŹgure out how to start it
- Rewriting the same email four times and still not trusting the tone before you send it
- Out-preparing everyone in the room and still walking out unsure you were actually heard
- Being told to have "more executive presence" while no one tells you what that actually means in the room you're standing in
And underneath all of it, the thing you don't say out loud:
I KNOW I HAVE MORE TO OFFER. THE ROOM JUST ISN'T HEARING IT.
How do I get them to hear what I'm actually saying, and believe in what I'm trying to sell? The people who know me see that Iâm capable and that my ideas are great. Itâs the rooms I need to win that donât.
YOU WENT LOOKING FOR THE REASON IT WASN'T LANDING.
The Industry Handed You the Wrong Advice.
The empowerment industry has spent a decade telling women they belong at the table. And it was right. You do belong. You earned your seat. The work you've done, the experience you carry, the substance you bring: none of that is in question.
But here's what no one is saying out loud:
belonging is not enough.
Being present is not the same as being powerful.
There is a difference between walking into a room and commanding it, and most women who reach the room have never been taught the second part.
They've been told to be conďŹdent.
They've been told to speak up. They have not been told what to do once they're in the room. They're already communicating. No one handed them a strategy for it.
CONFIDENCE GOT YOU TO THE ROOM.
Communication is how you honor everything it took to get there.
That gap, between being in the room and leading the conversation in it, is not a confidence gap. It is not a credentials gap. It is a strategy gap.
And strategy can be learned.
CONFIDENCE IS NOT THE PROBLEM.
COMMUNICATION WITHOUT A STRATEGY IS.
Not a different you. The same you, finally, fully heard.
This Time, the Room Rises to Meet You.
TAKE THE SAME ROOM. SAME TABLE, SAME STAKES, SAME PEOPLE.
This time you walk in with the thing you came to say already clear, and you lead with it. Not after three other people have spoken. First.
The room hears the whole idea in your own words. Nothing comes out understated. No one has to be told later what you actually meant. Your voice sounds the way it does when you're talking to someone who already trusts you: steady, unhurried, sure of the point.
You can feel what the room needs from you while you're still sitting in it, instead of figuring it out on your way out. You said it. It landed. You knew it before anyone told you. And you walk out with the win you've worked hard for.
The email takes one pass. The hard conversation actually gets started. The networking room turns into two or three real connections instead of a stack of cards and a long exhale in the parking lot.
And you leave the next leadership event knowing exactly what to do ďŹrst, not with another page of takeaways you'll never look at again.
None of this is about changing who you are.
You're not becoming louder, or more polished, or someone else's idea of a capable leader.
You're ďŹnally being recognized and remembered as the real you.
Thatâs where your career starts to change.
THE WOMEN WHO MOVE THE ROOM AREN'T MORE GIFTED. THEY SIMPLY OPERATE WITH A DIFFERENT STRATEGY.
Move the Room with a Strategy that Works.
Those who command the room are running a clear strategy, whether they can name it or not. It is a repeatable framework to prepare before the room, read the room once you're in it, and lead it with precision.
Not a mindset. A framework.
I CALL IT THE R.I.S.E. FRAMEWORK.
And I promise you, every part of it is a skill. Learnable, practiceable, and yours to keep.
COMMUNICATE TO ELEVATE
is the course that teaches the R.I.S.E. Framework to you, so you close the gap between the work you do and how the room hears you.
Itâs the road I already built, all of it in order, so youâre not figuring it out by trial and error.
HI, I'M LACHINA
This Isn't a Broadcaster
Making a Course

I've spent twenty-ďŹve years building a career in sports, twenty of them on air. Broadcasting is the part most of you know me for, but I got there as a basketball player ďŹrst, then an analyst, then a host. Every pivot dropped me into a new room where nobody owed me their attention yet, and I had to earn the way I landed all over again.
The same thing carried me through each one, and it was not conďŹdence. I walked in with that. It was a repeatable way to prepare for a room, read it while I was standing in it, and make what I actually knew land before the moment passed. In live television, there are no second takes.
THEN I STARTED
TEACHING IT

One woman at a time, inside mentorship that has been the quietest and most consistent work of my career: across Rising Media Stars, in communication training for student-athletes at Penn State, Florida, Cal, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt, and for athletes coming into the WNBA.
I kept watching women who were more prepared than anyone else in the room walk out without the win they'd worked for. Not because of their rĂŠsumĂŠ. Because of how they had been taught, or never taught, to communicate what they already knew.
Communicate to Elevate is twenty-five years of that, in one place.
So the next woman doesn't have to spend a decade figuring out what I can teach her in an afternoon.
Introducing
Communicate to Elevate
Communicate to Elevate is an on-demand digital course I created to help you communicate with clarity, command, and presence at the moments that matter most in your career. Built on my R.I.S.E. Framework (ReďŹect, InďŹuence, Stand Out, Evolve), it delivers an hour of focused content drawn from my two decades in broadcasting and boardrooms, teaching the communication skills that open doors: owning your voice, commanding the room, and advocating for yourself and your vision.
Instant access. Use it before your next room that matters.
âWhen I walk into a room, I have a presence,Â
because of the way I hold myself.â
A lot of times when I was in a room full of people, I would shut down. I questioned everything. Should I do this? Should I talk to this person? Is it okay to ask this? Am I allowed to be here? I'm analyzing every little thing I did, and this is something that I constantly did.
When I spoke to people one-on-one, especially high-level people or people I admire, I'd round my shoulders so bad. I mean, I'm 6'1", so I wanted to shrink down to their level rather than being unapologetically me.
I'm not afraid to just walk up to someone anymore. One of my biggest shifts is I felt comfortable asking questions. I built relationships, and that was something that has been so hard for me.
I still am not the loudest person in the room, but now people know who I am. When I walk into a room, I have a presence, because it's just the way I hold myself
â FAITH CAIN, LACHINA'S MENTEE
FOUR WORDSÂ BEHIND YOUR REAL VOICE
Communicate to Elevate is Built on
the R.I.S.E. Framework.
The R.I.S.E. Framework is a four-pillar system, built in order, because each one stands on the one before it. Skip the first and the rest wonât hold when the pressure is on. Together they cover the whole room: before you walk in, while youâre in it, and after you walk out with the yes.
REFLECT. The ground you stand on.
You get clear on your communication identity, how you actually come across when you speak, along with your story and the barrier that's been stopping you in the half-second before you say the important thing. You walk into the next room knowing exactly where you're starting from: what's already strong, and where there's room to grow.
INFLUENCE. Moving people, so what you say actually lands.
Reflect shows you how you come across. Influence is where you use it to move rooms, not just occupy them. This is the module that closes the gap between the woman who prepared and the woman the room actually heard. You stop hoping the room gets it and start building what you say around what they need to hear to say yes.
STAND OUT. In your own voice.
You can give the right answer and still be forgotten the second you leave the room. Stand Out brings your own voice into every room, on camera, in person, and when the pressure is high, so people recognize you, remember you, and want to hear from you again.
EVOLVE. A voice that grows with your career.
Evolve is staying open to shifting your goals and your approach as your career grows, without losing who you are in the process. The rooms change, the stakes go up, the people in the seats change too, and you learn to read what each one needs and adjust your delivery to it, on purpose. Over time, people stop describing how you communicate and start describing how you lead.
HOW IT'S DELIVERED
16 SHORT LESSONS ACROSS FOUR MODULES
The R.I.S.E. Framework gives you a repeatable sequence for every room you enter. You'll master the strategy of preparation, execution, and impact. So you're never left deciding which advice applies to the moment. You'll walk away with a tool you can run every time: from an unexpected two-minute hallway conversation to the biggest pitch of your career.
A 16-PAGE WORKBOOK YOU WRITE IN
The videos teach it. The workbook is where you do it. After each lesson, you put what you just learned in the workbook, in your own words, for your own rooms. Watch, write, practice, walk in. That's how the teaching becomes the result.Â
You arrive with potential. You leave with a plan: specific goals, real commitments, and a voice you've decided to trust.
ONE MODULE IN A SITTING
A little more than an hour of video in total, in short lessons. Two decades of my expertise, cut down to only what changes the outcome. One module fits in a lunch break, and you can watch the whole thing in an afternoon. With the workbook it takes longer, and it should. Thatâs where the teaching turns into your plan.
YOURS ON YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
No cohort to wait for, no start date, nothing you have to keep up with. One year of access, which means the lesson on the hard conversation is there the night before the hard conversation. On your phone the morning of, in the parking lot before you walk in. This isn't an event you attended. It's what you open before every room that matters.
An hour for your employer. An hour for yourself.
BONUS FOR FOUNDING MEMBERS ONLY. CLOSES 11:59 PM PT ON OCTOBER 25.
The Open Room with LaChina.
A live, open-format Q&A session with me. You bring your real questions about what you learned and the rooms you're preparing for, and I work through your specific situation in real time. Outside of my private one-on-one work, this is the only way to be in a room with me live.
The session is live on Tuesday, November 3, at 7 PM Eastern / 4 PM Pacific.
This is a limited-time bonus for founding members only. Enroll during the founding window, which closes 11:59 PM PT on October 25, and you are in. ENROLL IN COMMUNICATE TO ELEVATE
Instant access. Use it before your next room that matters.
âIt all comes together with how it's delivered.â
What I was struggling with was staying grounded and sounding confident in the information I was trying to convey. The biggest thing I learned from LaChina was to slow down when I was speaking and emphasize specific words to really get the main message across.
Even though you're conďŹdent in the information, the story you're telling, it all comes together with how it's delivered. Now I understand it's all about how I ground myself, center myself, speaking not so fast, and taking those intentional pauses.
Since working with LaChina, I've gotten some of my best work, just using those tools: breathing, slowing down, emphasizing certain words. I now describe myself as accomplished, and I show up differently.
â SYMONE STANLEY, LACHINA'S MENTEE
What This Course Actually Is (and Isn't).
THE ROOM DOESNâT DECIDE WHAT YOU BROUGHT. IT DECIDES WHAT IT HEARD.
Communicate to Elevate is how you make sure it hears all of it, and you walk out with the opportunity, the deal, the promotion, the yes. Hereâs what it isnât, because chances are youâve already tried most of it.
Not another round of mindset work.
You've done the affirmations, the journaling, the conďŹdence work. It told you that you belong, then stopped. This picks up where it left off: the mechanics of being heard once you're in the room. Skills, not sentiment.
Not vague "executive presence" advice.
"Be more executive" is a critique with no method attached. The R.I.S.E. Framework is the method: a repeatable way to prepare for a room, read it in real time, and move it. The same four steps, in any ďŹeld.
Not another padded six-hour course you'll never ďŹnish.
Most courses pad the runtime to look like more. This one is a little more than an hour of video lessons, stripped to what actually changes a room, and built to return to. Short by design, deep by experience.
Not a keynote that lit you up and faded by Monday.
You've sat in that ballroom. By the next week, the feeling was gone, and nothing had changed. Inspiration has a shelf life. A framework doesn't. This is the play you run for the rest of your career
NOT WHAT YOU'LL LEARN. WHAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO.
What Changes the Next Time You Walk In.
Work through the lessons and the workbook, and the R.I.S.E. Framework is yours.
Here is what that changes in the rooms you're already standing in:
You'll land the message it takes to get your pitch approved
by leading with the thing you came to say, instead of waiting for an opening that comes and goes.
You'll be the one trusted with the bigger moments
by owning the high-pressure moment in your own voice, without holding any of it back.
You'll be ready when the opportunity shows up, even on short notice
by preparing any room with the same repeatable structure, so preparation steadies you instead of draining you.
You'll start the conversation that moves your career forward
by handling the hard conversation in one pass, because you're working from a structure instead of second-guessing every word.
You'll stay in command of the conversation even when it doesn't go to plan
by reading what's happening in front of you and adjusting in the moment, instead of running your prep and hoping it lands.
You'll keep opening doors as your career grows
by leading through how you communicate, and building a reputation people remember you for, one room at a time.
This isn't a someday list. It's the next room you walk into.
Instant access. Use it before your next room that matters.

Most women spend years of missed rooms and half-heard ideas figuring this out on their own, if they ever do.
I poured more than twenty years of broadcasting, entrepreneurship, and mentorship into this. It costs less than a single one-on-one strategy session, and that session would only prepare you for one room.
THIS ONE COVERS ALL OF THEM.
Because the full course is delivered to you the moment you enroll, it is non-refundable. Before you decide, the ďŹt section below tells you plainly who this is for and who it isn't,
SO YOU CAN BE SURE IT FITS BEFORE YOU SPEND A DOLLAR ON IT.
A Case Study
From "You'll Never Be on TV" to the Woman Who Walks Up and Asks.
When Faith joined my 2023 mentorship class for women coming up in sports media, she sat in the back and barely said a word.
A professor and a producer had both told her she didnât have what it takes to be on TV, and she believed them. In rooms full of people she admired, she shrank.
I DIDNâT START WITH A PEP TALK.
We started with Reflect, who she was. Once she was clear on that, her conversations with decision-makers shifted, because she knew exactly who she was bringing into the room.
Then her Influence started to grow. People knew who she was when she walked in. She became the one starting the conversation, and the head nods came when she brought in her ideas.
She started to Stand Out among the other media, because she was making the in-person connections herself and her voice was taking its own shape. This past season at the Womenâs College World Series, she walked straight up to the director and the players and asked her questions.
And she kept holding her ground until the bigger assignments came, and she Evolved into the talent she always felt she could be.
SAME WOMAN. SHEÂ DIDN'T GET LOUDER.
She got the framework to move the room as her full self.
That framework is The R.I.S.E. Framework.
I DIDN'T IMPROVISE IT FOR FAITH, AND NONE OF IT WAS RESERVED FOR HER. IT'S THE SAME FRAMEWORK, IN THE SAME ORDER, WAITING FOR YOU INSIDE THIS COURSE.
The distance she covered is the distance it's built to close for you.
MAKE YOUR VOICE YOUR ADVANTAGE
Instant access. Use it before your next room that matters.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE, THE HONEST TRUTH ABOUT FIT.
IS THIS COURSE FOR YOU?
I've watched The R.I.S.E. Framework do the same work in room after room, for women standing exactly where you are right now. If that's you, this delivers. If it isn't, keep your money. I would rather you spend it on the thing that actually ďŹts than on something that was never built for you.
SO HERE IS THE TRUTH ABOUT FIT, PLAINLY.
This is for the woman who:
- Has already earned her seat, in or near the rooms she's working to own.
- Has done the confidence work, all of it, and is tired of it.
- Has the substance, the experience, and the track record.
- Has been told vaguely to be "more executive" without being shown how.
- Wants a bigger voice in the rooms that matter.
- Wants to sharpen her voice and strengthen her presence.
- Is ready to commit to active practice, not just watch it.
It's not for the woman who:
- Is looking for the belief that she should be in the room at all.
- Wants mindset coaching or affirmation work.
- Wants ongoing live coaching, cohort accountability, or one-on-one access to LaChina.
- Wants a ďŹx that doesn't require her to apply what she learns.
If you read the first list and recognized yourself, then you are in the right place.
THE FRAMEWORK WASN'T A THEORY. I BUILT IT IN THE HARDEST ROOM OF MY CAREER.
THE ROOM WHERE I HAD TO BUILD THE FRAMEWORK OR GET MISSED.
In the summer of 2020,
COVID travel restrictions forced me to move to Bristol, CT where ESPN is. I was an ESPN basketball analyst covering the WNBA, and that season was being played a thousand miles away in the WNBA bubble in Bradenton, Florida. And outside those walls, a racial reckoning none of us could look away from was happening. The players were using every camera they had to speak the truth about it, and my job was to carry what they were saying to everybody watching.
Into all of that, ESPN asked me to do something I had never done. To host.
For fourteen years, I had been an analyst: the person who breaks down the game and explains the âwhyâ behind what they're seeing on the court. Hosting is a different job entirely. You manage the whole broadcast, carry the room from topic to topic, and hold the thread across all of it. They needed me in that seat, and I said yes, because whatever I could do to keep the coverage going, I was willing to do.
I was very uncomfortable in the host seat. I had no idea what I was doing.
BUT HERE IS WHAT I DID KNOW.
I KNEW WHO I WAS AS A COMMUNICATOR.
I knew how to keep a live conversation going on air, because Iâd done it as a sideline reporter. I had a personal connection to what was happening on and off the court that summer, and I knew I was at my most compelling when I was speaking from personal experience. And I knew there were parts of what Iâd learned as an analyst that I could use in the host seat.
So I built from that, in a role I was learning in real time, even when the ground was shifting under me.
By the end of that summer, I had gained confidence in a seat I'd started with nothing. By the grace of God, it changed my career. NBC called about the Olympics because they'd seen the hosting work. I went to Tokyo. When I came home, we launched the first WNBA countdown desk at ESPN, a platform I had pitched and dreamed about, and there I was in the host seat.
What I walked out with that summer was a method I didn't know I already had.
THAT METHOD IS THE R.I.S.E. FRAMEWORK.
It's what I've been teaching one woman at a time, all those years: through ESPN, through Rising Media Stars, at Penn State, the University of Florida, Cal Berkeley, Georgia Tech, the WNBA, and the NBA. NCAA-certiďŹed leadership facilitator, DISC facilitator, and communication training for hundreds of student-athletes.
Communicate to Elevate is the most direct way to get the framework I've spent two decades building and teaching, now in your own hands, in your own time.
âShe's the GOAT when it comes to bringing women into the room, without an ego.â
I've known LaChina for about eleven years, since I graduated college, and she's had an immeasurable impact on me as a communicator and as a woman in the workforce.
I'm a memorizer, so her advice was huge for me: think in bullet points, and communicate the way I do when I'm talking about basketball, in a conversational way. She also helped me see that the most authentic version of me wasn't coming across at work. Overall, she's instilled a lot of conďŹdence in me to use my voice.
She's the GOAT when it comes to bringing women into the room, lifting them up, not having an ego, and sharing her network with everyone around her. I think the world of her.
â SHANTEONA KEYS,

The Questions You're Actually Asking.
Is an hour really enough to change anything?
I've bought courses before and never finished them. Why would this be different?
Do I need to be struggling with confidence for this to help me?
I'm not in sports, or my field is different. Is this for me?
What if I'd rather have hands-on help?
Is there a refund?
YOU ALREADY DID THE HARDEST PART. YOU GOT TO THE ROOM.
NOW SAY ALL OF IT
You have the experience, the ideas, and a perspective worth hearing, and youâve worked hard for every room youâre walking into. The only thing missing was a way to make what you already carry land the first time you speak, in your own voice, instead of editing yourself in the room. That's the whole of what this is. Not more belief in yourself. The framework for delivering the self you already are.
